Chaffeh (S)

"Chaffeh" (شفة) or “lip” refers to the shape of the edge of this traditional Levantine coffee cup. It is made by hand from local clay by one of the last potters in the Chouf region of Lebanon and then glazed in many vibrant colours and textures by an artist in Beirut, as part of a social enterprise connecting ceramic artisans and reviving Lebanon's pottery tradition.

These extra small cups are best used for Turkish coffee or espresso/ristretto. We also like to use them as sake cups.

Available in six bright colours.

Note: This is a handmade product. Every item is unique. Variations in size, shape and colour are to be expected. Preferably hand wash.
